1996 Estate Wagon with real fake woodgrain. 173,xxx miles, has 'Collector's Edition' hood ornament and side badges, basically stock, 350 cu. in. LT1 V8, column-shift automatic. Woodgrain film on the upper trim strips is peeling, it only lasts so long in the sun - left side is much better than the rear and right side. Garaged by the original owner in northern California until 2013. Comes with a big box of documentation and extra keys.

Has the original clear plastic carpet protector sheet in the third-row seat footwell. Rear cargo cover, retracting sun shades for the vista roof, some LED interior lights. Nice Dash-Topper matches the dark brown interior trim. Leather Wheelskins steering wheel cover.

Newer touch-screen radio/CD player with an auxiliary jack. Original stereo unit is included but the tape player does not work. Leather is in near perfect condition, no heated seats. Custom carpet mats with embroidered Buick logos - Weathertech rubber floormats also. Exterior and interior are very clean with minor flaws. No rust. Two small chips in the windshield. The driver's interior door panel and trim is coming loose - it's all together, but getting shaky. The power window in that door was repaired and the trim did not go back in cleanly.

Runs strong and does not consume oil. Mechanical fan replaced with an electric conversion from a non-tow pack B-body. "Home plate" intake resonator is included but not installed - don't have the brackets to install it. AC system has a leak - a can of refill refrigerant gets the system working, but not for long.

Transmission rebuilt by the second owner in 2015 - 'The Beast' sun shell, Trans-Go parts and a 2,800 rpm stall torque converter. At highway speeds - about 40 and 60 mph - the transmission does not kick down out of top gear cleanly. It seems to hunt for the shift point if the throttle is backed off or if the grade gets steeper. A little punch of the gas will trigger the shift and get you past it. Recent smog test OK and new registration sticker good until December 2019.

Nice Hankooks with about 3,000 miles. Oil cooler lines replaced one year ago. Battery is 1 ½ years old. Brakes done on all four corners. New right side rear axle seal. Chrome tow hitch. New Bilstein shocks in the front. Three-year-old Monroe SS shocks in the rear. I'll throw in a new Bilstein shock (24-015172) for the rear, get yourself one more, install the two in the back and you're set.

These things do not work: right side rear power window, power antenna, windshield washers, horn, alarm system.

$5,500 or best offer.
