hello everyone I’m new to this forum. I just bought a 1978 Delta 88 Royal for 900 bucks original owner rebuilt transmission he said they just wanted it off the property. Just thought I’d drop a few pictures see what you guys think.

That car looks like it has potential. :) And I'll be damned, there's another late 70s 88 with an Oldsmobile V-8, no A/C and the alternator on the passenger side. I swear I've never seen one first hand and I didn't know that they came like that at all, and I worked on them for a living. Lol The only 2 I've ever known to exist is yours and that 77 403 equipped 88 sans air conditioning high lighted in another thread on this site. I'll add that I worked on them in South Texas, and in the 70s, 88's were nice, higher end cars that always had factory air conditioning. No kidding, I didn't know that you could get one without a/c.

Anyway, welcome, thanks for the pictures, and God speed :) $900 sounds like a pretty good deal too. Dam, looks like delay/pulse wipers, cruise control, rally wheels, and velour interior up sells, but they skipped the a/c.
