I have a 1973 Pontiac Grandville convertible with only 60,000 miles on it. I'm having trouble with one of the codes on the cowl tag under the hood. It's the code "A65" in the middle of the tag. I have been searching different places and I think it might stand for 6-way electric front bench seat, but not entirely sure. I have everything else decoded, list is below:
73-2BP67 = 1973 model year, Grandville convertible
X-148996 = Kansas City manufacturing line - unit number or order number of car going down the line
572 = White Vinyl Interior
A65 = (not sure on this one, might stand for 6-way electric bench seat?)
24-A = Porcelain Blue paint - white convertible top
3E = Car was made the 5th week of March in 1973
If anyone can confirm the A65 code, I would appreciate it
