I've been having a strange issue recently where my Oldsmobile's steering box only has 120 degrees or so of adjustment on the Allen screw before hitting some kind of stop. I don't think it's bottomed out all the way since it's sub-100k miles, and only having 120 degrees doesn't seem correct in any way. Is there potentially something I'm missing in the procedure? I'd prefer not to throw parts at the problem if I don't have to. I have confirmed that the play is not in the rag joint or other steering components.
