Also see if you physically have the receiver sitting on the rear internal fender well.
The receiver for the remote is under the driver's side cover in the cargo area. The opposite of the cover for the spare tire. Should be fairly close to the speaker.
If I remember correctly, this is the program steps...
Find the receiver, there should be a unplugged harness connector coming off it.
This is the "Program Connector"
Use a jumper wire at both ends to ground the program connector to a bolt or some other metal body part.
Grounding the program terminal erases the system memory and causes the doors to lock and unlock once.
Keeping the jumper wire connected press any button on first remote.
The vehicle will respond by door locks locking and unlocking.
If you have a another remote you want to program, press any button on it and the doors locks will lock and unlock again.
Remove the jumper, and test, and you should be good.
P.S. This is if you have the key fobs with correct Mhz. If not check ebay.
It may be more worthwhile, just to buy a universal door remote and car start remote that works together.
